No. 34 Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang Started: 12th | Finished: 40th "I didn’t really see what happened, just saw the 43 coming up the race track. That was about it. We were unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. We were real hopeful for our Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang today and to be out so early on is very disappointing. But it’s out of our control. That’s part of superspeedway racing."
Michael McDowell on Talladega 16 Starts Best Finish: 15th
“Talladega is one of our best chances to win a race and have a great finish for our Love's Travel Stops Ford, especially since we started the season so strong at Daytona. We know what we need to do to execute well and have a clean race. I'm optimistic about the speeds we'll see this weekend from all three Front Row Motorsports cars. We’re happy to welcome Brisk to our team this weekend, too. I think we’re all looking forward to a good run on Sunday.”
No. 34 Dockside Ford Mustang Started: 25th | Finished: 36th "It was a tough night for our Dockside Logistics No. 34 team at Richmond Raceway. Our car was extremely tight from the drop of the green flag, but we kept working on it and were able to get it to a point where I was actually more on the free side. I thought that the car was going to come to me, but I cut down a right rear tire late in the race that sent me into the wall, ending our night early."
Michael McDowell on Richmond 16 Starts Best Finish: 12th
“I'm ready to regroup at Richmond. The track is usually pretty fast after the sun goes down, but it's also a track that requires good tire management. We will need to be smart and execute well throughout the whole weekend. We know we can do that and have a solid run.”
No. 34 Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang Started: 18th | Finished: 28th "It was a tough day for our Love’s Travel Stops No. 34 team. We struggled to find the right adjustment all day and came home P28. We will take what we learned this weekend, regroup back at the shop and look ahead to Richmond next weekend."
Michael McDowell on Bristol 17 Starts Best Finish: 18th
“I'm looking forward to having another chance to race at Bristol this weekend, especially right now. We’re coming off of a Top-15 finish last weekend and I feel that’s where we can race weekly without any mistakes. We’ve shown a lot of speed this year and Bristol is going to be a new challenge for everyone. We’re going to carry a lot of corner speed and handling will be important. I'm hoping to carry momentum moving forward and I'm optimistic that we can get another great result for our Love's Travel Stops Ford.”
No. 34 Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang Started: 15th | Finished: 15th "We really needed this. We had a great weekend, starting with qualifying on Friday and earning a 15th place starting position. Today, we pretty much ran 15th all day, executing and not making any mistakes. This is the best that we’ve ran in a while so it felt really good. Thanks to Love’s Travel Stops for all of their support. I’m really glad that I could bring them home a solid finish."
