Tifft Post-Race Report: Talladega

No. 36 Surface Sunscreen/Tunity TV Ford Mustang
Started: 18th | Finished: 37th

"An unfortunate end to our day at Talladega Superspeedway. We had a great car and a shot at a really good finish. We missed the wreck but just got a piece of debris stuck in the splitter, which damaged the radiator and ended our day. We’ll regroup this week and look ahead to taking our Surface Sunscreen/Tunity TV Ford to Dover."

Best Finish: 6th

"I'm ready to head to Talladega after the off-weekend. It can definitely be an intense race and you have to find the balance between being patient and being aggressive. I think we'll see some good speed in our No. 36 Surface Sunscreen/Tunity TV Ford and if we can stay out of trouble, we'll have a shot at taking the checkered flag."

Tifft Post-Race Report: Richmond

No. 36 The Pete Store Ford Mustang
Started: 20th | Finished: 29th

"The Pete Store No. 36 Ford started the weekend with a good qualifying run. Unfortunately, we ended up having to start the race at the back of the pack, and we had our work cut out for us. We battled a tight car throughout the race and tried to make a few pit stop strategy calls to set ourselves up for a good finish. It didn’t work out the way we wanted, but we’ll regroup in the off-weekend and come back ready for Talladega."

"Richmond is a cool track to race at. The banking is similar to ISM Raceway and since we had such a good run there a few weeks ago, I'm looking forward to seeing what our No. 36 Ford can do. We've got The Pete Store on our car this weekend and it's great to have them as a continued partner with FRM."

Tifft Post-Race Report: Bristol

No. 36 Tunity/Surface Sunscreen Ford Mustang
Started: 29th | Finished: 27th

"I feel like our Surface Sunscreen/Tunity TV Ford had decent speed this weekend. Unfortunately our practice to race changes made our car way too tight to fire off. We chased that tight feeling most of the day, and made some gains at the end but had a hole too deep to recover from. I’m excited to move on to Richmond and see what we can do there after a solid run at ISM Raceway earlier in the year, which is very similar in banking."

(Xfinity Series) 5 Starts | 1 Top-10
Best Finish: 10th

"Bristol always offers some great racing for the fans, but it’s always a challenge for the drivers. Saying that, I'm looking forward to Bristol because of the progression of our team. I feel the past few weeks we’re getting stronger and stronger. Bristol gives us a chance to really race up front all day.

I feel we can take our learnings over the last few weeks and apply them at a track with such high speeds, where it's so important to find grip. Our whole team is coming off of a good run at Texas, so I'm hoping we can go out there and finish strong again in our Surface Sunscreen/Tunity TV Ford Mustang."

No. 36 Tunity/Surface Sunscreen Ford Mustang
Started: 29th | Finished: 24th

"I thought our speed this whole weekend was really good. It was ultimately kind of bittersweet because we feel like we were one or two changes away from being very good like the No. 34, but just got a lap down too early on. After that point, we were pretty solid, just needed our lap back but there was never a wave around opportunity. We definitely tried some new things this weekend and I’m excited for the direction that can bring moving forward."
