Todd Gilliland, No. 38 Crosley Brands Ford F-150
Start: 6th (based on qualifying formula) Finish: 22nd
Gilliland on WWT Raceway: "I think he (Sheldon Creed) knows what happened and I think I know what happened. He just drove in there over his head and it got us. That's racing, but I just hate it. My guys work day and night for me and it was so cool to have Crosley Brands on board. The hit probably wasn't hard enough for me to hit the wall, just got me out of shape there. Man, we just had such a good truck from the beginning going from sixth to first under green and to win both stages. Gosh it was such a good day. I feel like this has been one of the more dominate truck races I've ever run. We just need to keep this up. The guys we are racing for points sucked today and man we needed those points. It's just all we could do. I have to thank Crosley Brands, Ford, Front Row Motorsports and Bob Jenkins. I hope they were all proud watching us and we're going to do the same thing at Darlington next Sunday."

Todd Gilliland, No. 38 The Pete Store Ford F-150
Start: 17th (based on qualifying formula) Finish: 4th
Gilliland on Dover: "It was really cool to have The Pete Store on our truck and get a top-five finish. We're right on the bubble and we need to have these good days, but the guys around us are stepping up too, so we just have to maximize every race. I'm really proud of this Front Row Motorsports team and the race we ran today. We needed that as a team. We're pretty close and getting closer. I can't wait to get to Gateway next week." Track: Dover International Speedway, one-mile oval
Race: 13 of 23 Event: KDI Office Technology 200 (200 miles, 200 laps) Schedule: Friday, August 21 5:00 p.m.............Race (FS1) (all times ET) Todd Gilliland, No. 38 The Pete Store Ford F-150 With only four races remaining before the playoffs, Todd Gilliland has his work cut out for him this Friday at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. After an alternator issue left him in 33rd place last weekend at the Daytona road course, he is now only two points above the cut line for the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series (NGROTS) playoffs. A win at Dover would lock him in, but more bad luck could leave him on the outside looking in. Gilliland has three NGROTS starts at The Monster Mile with a best finish of 10th in 2018. He also has three starts there in K&N East competition with a best finish of third last year. This Friday the Front Row Motorsports team will be taking the same Ford F-150 Gilliland raced in the doubleheader races at Kansas Speedway in July where he finished 10th and 20th after a flat tire late in the race. Gilliland will have a new sponsor on his truck this weekend. The Pete Store is a growing network of Peterbilt truck dealerships, with locations spanning the Eastern United States. Through their exclusive Peterbilt dealerships they offer sales of new and pre-owned trucks, truck parts, body shops, and truck service. A recipient of numerous awards, including Peterbilt North American Dealer of the Year (2004, 2016 and 2018), The Pete Store is a respected dealer in the transportation industry with a track record for quality support. The KDI Office Technology 200 from Dover International Speedway will be run on Friday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast live on FS1. The 200-lap race will be broken into three segments with stage-ending cautions on laps 45 and 90. Quick Facts: Number of Truck Series Starts at Dover: 3 Best Start: 3rd (2018) Best Finish: 10th (2018) 2020 Driver Point Standings: 10th (+2 above playoff cut line) Gilliland on Dover: "I've run about four, or five races at Dover between K&N and Trucks and I think I've finished one race. We're definitely looking to have a good run this weekend. Every one of these races is super important where we are right now on the bubble for the playoff cut line. I have to clear my memory and go into Dover with a clean slate every time to not be intimidated from past results. I know our Front Row Motorsports team is capable of bringing a truck with winning speed, but it's about being able to wrap the bottom early and maybe move up if there are opportunities to do that. I'd say just carrying a lot of speed is the number one goal through the turns." Todd Gilliland, No. 38 Frontline Enterprises Ford F-150
Start: 6th (based on qualifying formula) Finish: 33rd
Gilliland on Daytona: "Today was heartbreaking. We had a good Frontline Enterprises Ford and it was pretty racy in the first stage, but whatever happened with the alternator we could not keep a battery charged. I did everything I could in the truck trying to save power, but it wasn't enough. We changed batteries four times trying to make it to the end since several trucks dropped out and we wanted to pick up as many points as we could, but the final time it wouldn't crank so our day was done. I hate it for my FRM guys who worked so hard on this truck. "We'll put this behind us and regroup for Dover next Friday. That's a fun track and hopefully we can get a win there to lock ourselves into the playoffs." MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 12, 2020) – Front Row Motorsports announced today that Pneumatech will be the primary sponsor of Todd Gilliland’s No. 38 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series (NGROTS) race at Las Vegas (Nev.) The World of Westgate 200 will be Friday, Sept. 25 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The race will be televised live on FS1 at 9 p.m. ET. Todd Gilliland, No. 38 Frontline Enterprises Ford F-150
Todd Gilliland has had this Sunday's race at the Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway road course marked on his calendar since NASCAR announced it. Although the 20-year-old has not won on a road course yet, he has come close several times and feels this weekend is another shot at Victory Lane in the No. 38 Frontline Enterprises Ford F-150. Gilliland has made nine road course starts in various series resulting in four second-place finishes. He finished second in both doubleheader races at Utah Motorsports Campus in the K&N West Series and led 21 laps in 2106. He also scored second twice in 2017 in the K&N East Series at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International and New Jersey Motorsports Park. His most heartbreaking road race came in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in Canada in 2018. He led the final 11 laps of the race and thought he had his first Truck Series win in sight, until the final corner when then teammate, Noah Gragson, tried to make a pass resulting in both trucks spinning off course. Gilliland finished 11th. The Sunoco 159 from Daytona International Speedway will be run on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 12 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast live on FS1. The 44-lap race will be broken into three segments with stage-ending cautions on laps 12 and 25. Quick Facts: Number of Truck Series Road Course Starts: 3 (Bowmanville, Ontario) Best Start: 2nd (2019) Best Finish: 11th (2017 & 2018) 2020 Driver Point Standings: 10th (+29 above playoff cut line) Gilliland on Daytona: "I feel like we've always run well at road courses, so I'm super excited. I've come so close to winning on road courses before, and this would be the perfect time for that to happen and lock us into the playoffs. All of these races coming up are very important so we need to run well. We're only 29 points above the cut line for the playoffs, so we don't have room for any bad races. Frontline Enterprises has been a big supporter of mine for several years and we got them to Victory Lane at Talladega in the ARCA race last year, so hopefully we can do it again Sunday." Start: 19th (based on random drawing)
Finish: 5th
Gilliland on Michigan: "We worked hard all day to get that fifth-place finish. We started 19th, so on paper it's going to look like a good day, but a lot of good trucks wrecked and we still aren't where we need to be. My Front Row Motorsports team is working harder than ever and this is still good momentum. A good finish is always good for morale. We've got a busy week ahead of us and I love road course racing, so I can't wait to get to Daytona next weekend. Big thanks to Speedco, Love's, Ford and Front Row Motorsports for giving me this opportunity. Another top five is a great thing and we'll keep building." Todd Gilliland, No. 38 Speedco/Love's Ford F-150
Todd Gilliland is hoping to turn his NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series (NGROTS) season around this weekend at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. Coming off 10th and 20th-place finishes in the doubleheader at Kansas Speedway two weeks ago, Gilliland is looking for a strong run to keep him safely above the cut line for the Truck Series playoffs. Gilliland has two prior NGROTS starts at the fast two-mile track. He had his best run in 2018 when he started second and finished fifth. Last year he was running around the top five when he was ironically caught up in an accident with the three DGR-Crosley trucks and finished 24th. The Front Row Motorsports team will be taking the same Speedco Ford F-150 it raced at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May where Gilliland finished 37th after being involved in an accident. Speedco, part of the Love's family of companies, will be back on Gilliland's No. 38 Ford F-150 at Michigan. Love's provides professional truck drivers and motorists with 24-hour access to clean and safe places to purchase gasoline, diesel fuel, fresh coffee, restaurant offerings and more. Love's has more than 380 truck service centers, which include on-site and stand-alone Speedco and Love's Truck Care locations. Love's and Speedco combined is the largest oil change, preventive maintenance and total truck care nationwide network. Love's is committed to providing customers with "Clean Places, Friendly Faces" at every stop. To learn more, visit loves.com. The NGROTS 200 from Michigan International Speedway will be run on Friday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast live on FS1. The 100-lap race will be broken into three segments with stage-ending cautions on laps 20 and 40. Quick Facts: Number of Starts at Michigan: 2 Best Start: 2nd (2018) Best Finish: 5th (2018) 2020 Driver Point Standings: 10th (+22 above playoff cut line) Gilliland on Michigan: "I'm really looking forward to going back to Michigan. It's a fun track because it's very fast and there are several lines you can run since it's so wide. I had a great run there in 2018 and had a good run going last year until I got caught up in a wreck in the last few laps. We're 10th in the points right now, so hopefully all of our bad luck is behind us. We need some good runs to stay above the cut line for the playoffs. A win this Friday would be a good way to do that and lock ourselves into the playoffs." |
