"There’s always a lot going on at Bristol and a lot happening at one time. The top was pretty much the dominant line. It’s hard to pass, so guys were aggressive in making moves. There at the end it looked like maybe the 12 blew a right-front tire, and it’s Bristol – you check up and you kind of all wash up into the same spot. I saw my teammate try to dive low to miss it and just caught it and when he caught it, I just ran right in the back of him. It’s unfortunate for everybody at Front Row Motorsports – lost two cars in that accident and not really anything of our own doing, just wrong place wrong time. It’s unfortunate for the Love’s Travel Stops Ford Mustang and for David – not his last Bristol race, but this was an important race for him and I hate it for him."

"Our No. 36 Surface Sunscreen/Plan B Sales Ford started off a little tight and brushed the wall in the first half of the race, sustaining some minor right front damage. We made some adjustments as the night went on, but unfortunately broke something while running 23rd with only a handful of laps to go, and we ended up finishing P27. We'll regroup in the off-weekend and come back ready for Darlington."
"I saw Blaney cut a tire just past the start-finish line and I knew he was gonna run up and hit the wall, and I started trying to slow down. I was already committed to running the top and that happens in a fraction of a second and I got off the gas and hit the brakes, tried to go low, but as they bounced off the wall they came back down the track a little bit and just knocked the radiator out. That’s racing at Bristol. That’s short track racing. We had a solid run. I felt like we had a top-15 to top-20 car. We made some good adjustments throughout the night and it’s just one of those things. That’s kind of the way short track racing goes."

"It was a frustrating day for our No. 34 Long John Silver's Ford. I felt like we had a top-20 or even top-15 car today. We ran well at different points during the race, but couldn't catch the right breaks we needed to in order to bring it home at the end. We'll regroup at the shop this week, and come back ready to take on Bristol."
"P25 for our Meijer/Surface Sunscreen Ford. We had a good middle of the race, but unfortunately the beginning and end weren’t too friendly for us. We started out with an unbalanced car and made some progress with the changes we tried as the day went on. I felt like we had good speed at times throughout the race, but we just need to find a way to connect the dots for the finish. We’ll try again next week in Bristol."
"It was a solid day of racing for our No. 38 MDS Ford. We had our ups and downs throughout the race, and ended the last run on the upswing after a good restart, finishing P16 by the end. I'm proud of the effort from our whole team. Next, we're headed to Bristol, which is one of my favorite tracks, and I'm ready for a repeat performance next week."

"I give credit to our team for this weekend. We fought hard and got better all weekend. We didn't finish where we wanted, but we had another solid day. I really wanted a lot more, but the way strategy played out, it's how things shook out. Again, it's another solid day for our team and we want to keep this momentum going."

"I think on Sunday we started get to where we need to be as a team. We just started too far back, but in the race, I think we had a Top-20 car. Everyone in our pack was racing about the same, it became hard to pass, but I think our car was pretty good. I feel good about heading into Michigan.
"First, it was awesome to have Maui Jim on the car and see their whole crowd having a blast at the track. In the race, we just kept working on it and working on it. We kept the nose clean and learned a lot. I gained more experience on the road course in the Cup car and felt good. I think we're only going to get better and better to finish this season."
