A Recap of the Weekend Past
Both Michael McDowell and Anthony Alfredo are looking ahead to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this upcoming weekend after their races at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
Michael McDowell and the No. 34 Love's Travel Stops/Luber-finer team had to win to advance to the next round of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. McDowell and the team suffered power steering issues that left McDowell 24th at the end of the night.
Anthony Alfredo and the No. 38 DUDE Wipes Ford team finished 35th after being hit from behind. The team was able to make most repairs, but the team was forced to retire from the race early due to the damage.

MICHAEL MCDOWELL. NO. 34 LOVE'S TRAVEL STOPS/ LUBER-FINER FORD MUSTANG. FINISHED 24
Michael McDowell and the No. 34 Love's Travel Stops team lost power steering halfway through the race that left them 24th at the end of night. But, the team did gain points and still had a respectable finish despite the issue.
Although the team will not advance to the next round in the playoffs, they are looking to be the first Front Row Motorsports team to finish inside the top-15 in the NASCAR Cup Series.
McDowell is ready for that challenge.
MCDOWELL ON BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY:
"We were fast for most of the race. We were up in the top-15 and top-20 until we lost some of the power steering. It was going to be tough to win the race, but we got some points back. We want to be in the top-15 at the end of the season. We have seven races to do that and we're looking forward to that challenge."

ANTHONY ALFREDO. NO. 38 DUDE WIPES FORD MUSTANG. FINISHED 35
Anthony Alfredo and the No. 38 DUDE Wipes team had to retire after completing 313 laps on Saturday night due to damage from an accident on Lap 220. The team made repairs after a hard hit, but the car had too much damage to finish the race.
Alfredo raced as high as 25th early in the race before getting into the wall. The team was making strides forward until Alfredo was hit from behind, suffering major damage.
ALFREDO ON BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY:
"It was a tough night at Bristol. We got into a hole early, was working out of it, but then just wrecked. So, that ended the night. We showed a lot of fight and we will go to Las Vegas looking for a better result."
