No. 34 Love's Travel Stops / Fleetguard Ford Mustang Dark Horse:
In his final race with Front Row Motorsports and the No. 34 Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Michael McDowell started his hometown race in 35th place. After finishing Stage 1 in 34th place, Crew Chief Travis Peterson elected to take the waive-around to get a lap back and long-pit the second stage. Battling tire-pressures and a tight race car, the 34 came down pit road under green to make adjustments, finishing the stage in 35th. For the final stage, McDowell continued to fight the car, lap-traffic and the changing track conditions, finishing 31st, three laps down. McDowell finished the 2024 season with two Top-5s, seven Top-10s and a season-best six pole positions, winning the Busch Light Pole Award.

DRIVER MICHAEL MCDOWELL:
"Not the best way we wanted to finish our season, but what a year it's been. I just want to thank Bob, Jerry, all the men and women at Front Row Motorsports for all their hard work and dedication this season. We have made tremendous strides in our performance since I got here in 2018, and it shows. Six poles, two wins, solid, consistent finishes - I feel truly blessed to have been a part of the journey. It was bittersweet to climb into the Love's Ford Mustang for the final time, wish we would have had a better finish, but couldn't be more proud of this team."

"Not the finish we wanted but I'll take it. There was no quit in this 38 team today or all season. I want to thank Ryan (Bergenty), the road crew and the men and women back in Mooresville for all their hard work this season.
