No. 38 gener8tor Ford Mustang Dark Horse:

Qualifying 31st, Gilliland showed moments of speed throughout the race, even running within the top-five after a round of pit stops. With very few cautions and single file racing throughout most of the day, Gilliland was unable to gain the spots he needed to make a run for the top-15.

"It was a hard-fought day for our 38 team. At some points we had good speed but ultimately weren't there in the end. We'll just have to put it behind us, go back to the shop and get ready for Phoenix."

No. 34 Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang Dark Horse:

Michael McDowell raced in the top-15, top-20 for the first half of Stage 1 and stayed out for track position and clean air after the red flag delay, with 40 laps to go in the first stage. However, tire wear ailed the No. 34 towards the end of Stage 1 and second stage. In Stage 3, McDowell did inherit the lead, leading four laps in hopes to roll the dice on long-run tire strategy, but a caution with 33 to go from Corey Lajoie reset the field and gave everyone a chance to pit for the final laps of the race. McDowell was able to drive back up through the field to finish 25th position.

"That was a tough race for sure, we felt we had a fast Love's Travel Stops Ford Mustang Dark Horse. We tried different strategies for track position to get clean air, but the cautions didn't fall our way. But got to thank the team and my guys for all of their hard work on pit road, now we can regroup and focus on Phoenix."
