MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 13, 2024) - Layne Riggs made his first trip out to Long Pond, Pennsylvania for a 70-lap event at the Pocono Raceway.
After spinning in practice, damaging the primary truck, Layne Riggs and the No. 38 Infinity Communications Group team were forced to switch to their back up Ford F-150. Working swiftly to prepare the backup truck, Riggs started the race in the rear. Riggs picked up spots before finishing Stage 1 in the 30th position. Riggs pitted for tires and fuel under the stage-break caution before coming back to pit road for the team to fix the balance of the right-front toe. Riggs got back on track for Stage 2, where he finished 30th. Another pit stop for tires, fuel, and more service to the toe, Riggs went back on track to finish the race. After a caution and brief rain delay, Riggs finished the race in the 30th position.

No. 38 Infinity Communications Group Ford F-150:
DRIVER LAYNE RIGGS:
"I’m really disappointed in myself after wrecking a clean truck in practice. This FRM group did a fantastic job getting the back up truck ready for the race. Super proud and thankful for them and all their hard work along with the men and women back in Mooresville. I appreciate Infinity Communications coming out and supporting me and the team. I wish it turned out better for us, but that's racing. We'll come back better and faster next week at IRP."
