Michael McDowell and No. 34 Team Finish 15th in Points

Todd Gilliland and No. 38 Team End Season As One of Most Improved

Zane Smith and No. 38 Truck Series Team Ends Season 7th in Points

The 2023 NASCAR season came to a close this past weekend at the Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway with championship weekend. While Front Row Motorsports (FRM) did not repeat a championship this season, on the strength of wins and top performances, it was another historical season for the organization, its partners and fans.

Zane Smith and the No. 38 Ford F-150 team finished their season seventh in points on the strength of two wins and 10 top-five finishes. Smith and the team saw some wins get away late in races as they wanted to repeat their championship season. The season was highlighted by repeat victories at the Daytona International Speedway and the Circuit of the Americas.

Smith will now move to the NASCAR Cup Series for another team while the FRM truck series team finalizes a new driver for 2024.

Michael McDowell and the No. 34 Ford Mustang team made history for FRM finishing 15th in points after another top-10 finish in the season finale. It added to the total of eight top-10 finishes, two top-fives and a win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.

McDowell had a career high in Laps Led this season (97) as the team picked up from their strong 2022 season. McDowell and the team are ready for the 2024 season.

Todd Gilliland and the No. 38 Ford Mustang team was the most improved at FRM in 2023. The team had four top-10 finishes and 11 top-15 finishes. Gilliland improved his average finishing position by nearly two spots from his rookie campaign. The team had a strong peak early in the season with a string of top-15 and top-10 finishes before returning back to the top-10 at the Martinsville Speedway late in the year.

Gilliland returns in 2024 looking for his first win in the NASCAR Cup Series.
