Talladega, AL. (April 26, 2025) - Zane Smith earned his first career NASCAR Cup Series pole award in today's qualifying session. Smith took to the top of the leaderboard with a top speed of 182.174 MPH for a 52.565 lap time.

"I’m just really proud of how our whole team has been working together before our one-week break," said Smith. "I felt like that break was perfect for us to not reset, but to digest and think about what we need to build on. We’re off to a great start for this next long stretch, so I’m proud of the speed and everything we’ve been doing."

As an organization, this is Front Row Motorsport's eighth pole award and third straight at the 2.66-mile Alabama track.

"FRM and Ford have always brought a ton of speed to the superspeedways, so it makes you more excited for this style of racing," said Smith. "The Fords work really well together, so you look forward to those things. We're off to a great start to the weekend and an accomplishment that I’ve always wanted. Hopefully tomorrow I can say I’m a race winner in the Cup Series."
