Leading at White Flag, Smith Gets Spun Into Wall
Zane Smith and the Speedy Cash Ford F-150 team saw their third potential win of the season end in the Turn 1 wall at the Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Smith took the white flag leading side-by-side with another truck on the high groove. The truck below Smith got loose and contact sent Smith into the wall. Smith nursed the damaged truck back to the finish line in 14th.
It was a disappointing end after Smith had climbed from his 18th-starting spot to the lead in the SpeedyCash.com 250. Smith and the team finished fifth in both stages to collect 10 points during the race.
The team is now second in the regular season championship and still leads the playoff points.

"It's a bummer. I think we had it on the last lap, but the 2 truck got loose under me and that was it. I'm happy with the team working hard and getting us faster during the race. We weren't great at the start, but we had a shot at it at the end.
"Just want to thank the team and Speedy Cash for all they do to help us."
The Front Row Motorsports NASCAR CRAFTSMAN team will race on the dirt at the Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway this Saturday night.
The race is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
